Hello Michiel!

They were telling us the same here, plus they want to close down as many of the smaller hospitals completely (already did in several places around here). However, I hope this ongoing process will be reconsidered after this crisis.

Well, sounds a bit like the flu. The virus is so diverse, and even vaccination does not prevent you from getting it for sure. However, this is exactly one of the differences between the flu and CoVID19: The flu has been around for a very long time, and there is some "basic" immunity in the population. Even if you're not perfectly immune, the infect you might get will be less severe.

France, maybe?

What I find striking these days is the sheer number of people driving by here in their cabriolets, on their motorbikes, on their bicycles and so on... Our house is facing a relatively minor street, but we have a very popular area around (hills, curves...) for these people. I'm pretty used to have lots of them driving by, especially in springtime when the weather is fair like today or the previous two weeks. But I'm also pretty sure the numbers are much higher these days, considering it's a more or less average week day.

Regards,
Gerrit
