Not only bad guys, there are also users of such databases who use it for other reasons than original collected for, of even worse, organizations who change the rules afterwards and you can not withdraw your contribution you once made. I.e. from all kids born since 1994 in the Netherlands they have the so called Heel punction for medical reasons, to search for many well known disseases. Now they want to use that blood for DNA analyses!
And third you do not know who can legal or illegal get your information.
