WD>>> Please explain to me the concept of how a node can be CM, meaning WD>>> "Node accepts mail 24 hours a day" and at the same carry Pvt WD>>> meaning "a private node with unlisted number".
HD>> Yes that is technically possible.
MvdV> It is technical nonsense.
You forget this: CM for IP-mailers, and PVT for POTS mailers, hence the term "unpublished" accomplished with the PVT keyword.
HD>> That system is CM for insiders (friends) who know the contact HD>> information, but private for all others (strangers).
MvdV> If the contact info is not made public, there is no point in making the MvdV> CM public. It should be privtae as well.
There is a difference in Points not CM and Points that are CM. The first one has a mailer online, by IP or Pots, the second only calls out to get his/her mail. The publication of the connect info is up to the Node / Point. It is something like the same as for secred phone numbers. Some people donot want to be called by every stranger, but only known people.
Henri.
