You know there are at least 2 different flavours of the NodeList? One is the only 7 bit low ASCII old style version, and the other is the UTF8 version which also has high 8 bit ASCII, like accents in it, as is in your first name. Ofcourse you can send in a segment for that UTF8 version if you wish. The 7 bit low ASCII version is needed for old FTN software which can not handle high 8 bit ASCII, so that one will never have the 8 bit set. I donot know if you have to send in 2 sets, i.e. one oldstyle 7 bit one, and one new style 8 bit one for the UTF8 version. Ward can help you via NetMail if you want. I am not using the UTF8 version, or have plans to do at this moment. But in future hou never know ;-). Good luck.
Henri.
