Nice summary and I agree with your stance.
Political renewal fought for the institution of referenda for a long time.
We had a few and nearly all resulted in disaster of some kind.
There are always people that try to emphasize some popular issues and
hide what it really is about and thus turn the result in their favour.
Although some may disagree, that it is a good thing, the our right to
referndum has been revoked.
