I am not so sure. Many or even most of the people of the UK will have realised by now that the Brexit is going to cost them. But my impression is that a significant number of people want the Brexit anyway, despite the cost...

I think it is a moot point. The clock is ticking. By the time Theresa May has resigned and a new government is installed, there may not be enough time left to organise another referendum.
And even if the people of the UK want to come back, it still takes 27 others to Tango...
