MvdV>> I was responding to the last part about the EU making MvdV>> concessions. From that I gleened that he was trying to pressure MvdV>> the EU with the threat of a no deal Brexit.
DR> Start again - no, Boris doesn't necessarily *believe* that he can DR> negotiate a better deal but he is making quite sure that the EU DR> understands that he won't accept the present one. However he is DR> leaving the door open for further negotiations if the EU changes its DR> mind.
I say he is wasting his breath. The EU has made it abundantly clear that the present deal is the final deal and that it will not be renegotiated. Take it or leave it. If Boris does not understand that, we are heading for a no deal Brexit. It is up to him to explain that to the people of the UK and make them accept it.
MvdV>> SO what do they want? What does Boris Johnson want? Does he MvdV>> really wants a hard Brexit?
DR> Who knows?
He'd better make up his mind. The clock is ticking. 12 weeks and 3 days to go till 31 October...
