Of course you can't repeat a referendum until you get the result you want. But how long should the time between two referenda over the same issue be? Forty five years is a long time, two years seem short. But should it not depend on how much has changed during the period of time rather then the length of the period? I would say that the Brexit is such a drastic change that it justifies a new Scottisch referendum even though the previous one was "only" five years ago.
It is not for me to decide of course...
