Hmmm... Here it is next to impossible to retrieve the actual cost of the monarchy. Some figures are published but the expenses are spread over many departments and some expenses are not published as "safety related" or "private". A lot of effort is put into obfusciating the actual cost. Which of course makes the anti monarchists very unhappy and suspicious.
I would be surprised if it were much different in the UK. Or any other monarchy for that matter.

I asked because I very much doubt the net cost of the UK monarchy is zero. Surely there is a substantial amount of hidden cost?
