It is Bar. Or kg/cm^2. A unit that is metric but not ISO. As a physicist I prefer not to use it as the kilogram force depends on te value of g which is not exactly the same all over the world. I prefer to use Pascal. (1 Pascal = 1 N/m^2). For filling tires setting 1 Bar to 100 kPa is close enough. I fill my tires to 240 kPa front and 220 kPa back.
