C'mon, the forensic evidence shows beyond a shadow of a doubt it was done by a Russian weapon ... which the Ukraine does not have ... so it was either by the rebel backed Russian military, or the Russian military itself. And as the "rebels" didn't have the competence to handle it, it becomes a weird case.
Even the name of the officeer who commanded the battery is known, his extradiction was requested by the court in The Hague and Russia refused cooperation...
