About drinking alcohol ... I was at a gymnastics competition in 2019 with competitors from Russia, China and North-Korea.
The Chinese and North-Korean heads of delegation prided thenselves at being able drinking massive amounts of alcohol. Where-upon the Russian HOD went in his bag and grabbed a bottle with sone white transparant stuff in it, looked like Vodka but I don't know ... he filled 2 33cl glasses for the Chinese and North-Korean HODs and challenged them to drink it. Both downed it and then looken around like "Wut? Never seen this?" and nobody could tell they downed each 1/3 of a bottle of Vodka in one go ... not even a while later. Maybe they just were drunk all the time and for them it was normal.
I did my service too and was in the army officer-training for artillery, they had this slogan "Go in the military, learn a trade" ... so I learned to shoot 105/155mm guns ... it really aided me during my career ... 8-)
