The current government came into power after a legal process called "an election". There were 39 candidqtes in the Presidential election and Zelensky won the run-off vote by 73+% ... that's called "democracy", as in "the will of the people". OK, 12% of the voters in the Crimea, Donetsk Oblast and Luhansk Oblast could not vote ... it would only have changed the percentages, not the outcome.

They probably didn't try very hard obviously if you see the kind of mischief they can cause for the Bear's army...or there was something else ... maybe Ukrainian forces were not up against other Ukrainians but against ... Russians?
