It is not that easy. Either as a company you own your aircraft and then you do with it what you want, or you lease aircraft and it's tricky.
As a result the overwhelming majority of Aeroflot's fleet has been grounded by the leasing company which has cancelled the contracts and wants its aircraft back. Using them anyway means severe penalties and canceling of insurance policies. There are no parts available, there is no maintenance by qualified personnel. If maintenance is done anyway the lessor can invoke the immediate purchase option at the new price.
There are still a handfull of flights inside Russia, several are branded as 'positioning flights', which is nonsense and/or by regional carriers with some 737/A320s but not many.
The worldwide reservation system Sabre has been off-limits already a couple of days and today Amadeus also pulled the plug.
Russians wanting to fly home from Europe still have one flight today from Budapest and one from Larnaca. Tomorrow ... is another day...
