I doubt they "just" use it as they see fit ... it would cause an uproar. Isn't it so BTW that the king and the crown-princess cannot travel together?
The king also flies commercially for KLM. A few years back I slammed into him at Schiphol and he appologized ... it took me a while to realize what just happened.
