Whatever you think of the government of your neighbor country, it's still non of the russian business to invade the country.
Re-read your own sentence, please. You don't want the country to be run by the US, but if it's your country trying to exactly that, it's ok? Not very consistent.
And then let's have a look at Belarus. Isn't that country in fact run by russia? It THAT okay then?
