It would take many decades to change drivig side in my country. Without Hitler we probably have never changed that. Unfortunatelly he had also other "good" ideas regarding our nation...

There are always many groups with interest. To leave EU, to be in EU. What I see talking to UK collegues, their country was always closer to US than to Germany and France.
Speaking about Second WW - my country was on winning side. Nowadays DE owns 60-70% of industry here, we have to sell cheap products to DE and to buy same ones, but expensive (creating "added value" in DE). Working places are just about manual work. Like colony. I do not trust so much to our cheap government...
