   Hello Ward!

28 Jul 22 09:58, you wrote to me:

WD> Specific countries who have breached repeatedly what it is considered

WD> France and China. So when they do they always throw the middle finger
WD> and then "what"?
Such an argumentation is roughly equivalent to "let's be an anarchy because law, police and courts didn't stop murders and won't stop'em in any forseeble future".

WD> Wait a minute ... these 5 countries also are the permanent members of
WD> the UN Security Council ...
Nicolas Kim Coppola AKA Nicolas Cage is great, and "Lord of War" is one of my favorite movies. :)

WD> International law you say?
Yes. International law.

WD> There are international conventions on gas weapons, cluster
WD> ammunition, land mines, ... I'm pretty certain each of these 5
WD> countries have stockpiled them and you don't do that without the
WD> intent of ever using them.
You're on a conspiracy theory side, beware. ;)

WD> The US has invaded more territory than any other nation except the
WD> Romans (and they did it on foot), the Russian Federation has also
WD> invaded countries, China's human rights situation is appaling, France
WD> has sponsored state terrorism ... International law you say?
Yes. International law.

If we *now* has no beautiful way to enforce it doesn't mean that we:

1) should stop doing this;
2) should reject it existence.

WD> In times of war, there is no international law. It's kill or be killed
WD> and it doesn't matter if it's by a HiMars, a 16th century Venetian
WD> canon, a gas bomb, a potatoe cutting knife ...
A la guerre comme a la guerre. :)

Andrew
