To run postfix, you'd need a server (at least VPS, better VDS or hardware). However, once you have a server, you can run binkd there.
EONs were invented for those who don't have the capability to handle the incoming TCP connections. Instead, the originator sends the bundle as an attachment, and it is considered delivered: the mailbox is treated as an incoming storage of the target node.
