If you believe everyone around you is misguided, the problem is most probably in you. And no, I am not misguided. If "remotes will _have to_ use https proxy in their binkd clients" to connect to your node, this will mean your node will not support pure binkp protocol and you will have to remove IBN flag from your nodelist entry. Think about it. Not a rocket science.
