LOL! Got it first read. Frustrating and understandable at the same time. It's based in so many not really comprehending what 'routing' really is. At NC level, it's really simplified if it's a small net and everyone routes via the NC.
Take a case in point of a more complex chart.
A node in Z3 with netmail for a 1:275 node probably shoots it to Scott Little. Scott may shoot it to Janis or another but he knows he can shoot it to me too. If he does (since we connect 10 times a day or more in a game league) my system either packs it for the node of it it's my one node who pulls off my RC, it shoots to 1:13/0 for redirection there. My downlinks who might send a routed netmail to Z3 will find it shoots from me to Scott Little with no other Z1 route involved. Scott also knows he can route any zone through here if he *choses* but of course what i do not have a hold on will shoot to Bob Seaborn.
It a basic eliminate extra hops if not needed.
Secure routes where you know the person is up to it.
