Yup. Got tossed in the hard way as you say.
I can laugh now at the total shock to find R50 nodes there and wanting to change the official launguage in Z6 to russian when only one node could communicate in it. Bin Li made some sort of drug deal possibly with Anatoli's aide.
Ah well. Folks who just think ZC's are nodelist keepers haven't a clue. ZC's are not always well behaved but fact is they NEED to misbehave at times to make a point clear.
If a zone really needs something to keep working, all ZC's need to listen. Cooperation is all that is needed there. The main problems are like with the USA shut down. Unwilling to work together.
Grin, the only job of an IC is to be impartial and mediate at need with a bit of background on the issues across all zones. Smooth the way for communication as it were. I had hopes for Z3 there but the last one didnt really know more than his own zone or how to deal with things (no blame, just facts).
My hats off to you Ward. You've been riding herd for a long time and doing very well. As the only other one who dealt with that bedlam of languages, I know how hard that is.
