Thats true but fact is so many draw from other locations and fail to have the routing setup right. The problem is when that NC doesnt set themselves to use that path.
I firmly belive all traffic for a net should come to the nodes via the RC to the NC as at least a secondary path (if the site has a faster one). Default is via nodelist. ZG-->ZC-->RC-->NC-->node--Point
This should only be diverted in a known working path. End node diversion is the responsibility of the NC and at their discretion.
Let me be a bit radical. All RC;s need to have any undefined net's routing shoot to the ZC for routing down to the right RC then to the net.
