I've been told that English, for a newcomer, and not a student of languages, is
one of the more difficult languages to learn.  To some extent that is true,
considering that many words have different meanings, depending on where they
are used.  Also sentence structure is completely different then either Dutch,
German or French.  Not sure about other languages, but I would imagine it would
be so, to some extent at least.
