Actually, I got a chuckle. It's the sort of joke a Japanese person might tell.
They have fun with deliberate 'engrish'. In fact, I think I've seen that one on Tshirts there. There was one with a Japanese pirate trying to say 'arrg' spelled 'alllg' in a comic book bubble.
