I didn't say no when I was nominated :-) While writing some source code I faced several unclear protocol descriptions, missing details and careless mistakes. It took more time trying to figure out what was meant than writing the code.

Besides running, designing and optimizing carrier grade networks I'm a Fidonet member since 1993 and also writing some FTS software (20 years ago for the Amiga and now for Linux).

For my employers I've written tons of network design and engineering papers.
