Same here, in regards to the 10/10. Then again, I use Windows 7 on my desktop and Linux everywhere else, so none of my operating systems have an issue with IPV6.

Sounds like a good time to join the dark side and switch up to Linux! :)
Really though, I commend Microsoft for their Windows 7 release. I haven't run into any instability issues with it whatsoever. So at least if you're going to upgrade, you know you can keep basically the same stability as you have with XP.
I still can't get used to Windows 8, even with bringing the start menu back. There's too many hotkeys and mouse positions that can screw up whatever you're currently working on by flipping the screen to something else. It's pretty annoying.
On another note, I just recently (finally, probably) upgrade my router to an Asus RT-AC68R (same as the RT-AC68U but buying it from a retail store gives you the R instead). At the moment it's rated one of the best routers out there, and I'd have to agree on that. Streaming through the whole house is phenominal, and the USB3.0 port on it I've hooked up my external hard drive and can copy to and from it at 40-50gb/s.
With this router, the stock firmware is pretty nice, but someone (Merlin) has modified the stock firmware to add an IPV6 firewall, as well as a bunch of other nice features.. while keeping the stability of the stock firmware. DD-WRT is still in semi-stable stages, so when I tried it, it wouldn't detect my USB3.0 port. When I changed the firmware to the Merlin build (modified stock firmware) everything works wonderfully. Having that IPV6 firewall also makes things a lot nicer for the future, as I only need to have my binkp and http ports open.
I highly recommend it if anyone's looking to upgrade their router and don't care to spend a couple hundred on one that will last (presumably) for at least 5 years, while featuring all the current technology and supplying nice, fast speeds in every aspect (dual-band wifi with the new wireless AC and USB3.0 were big selling points for me, since the streaming in-house has become a lot more popular in our family).
